Position Summary:
In a team-oriented environment, this role independently performs a variety of structural assembly operations using required tools, prints, specifications, and operational requirements to ensure work meets specifications. Assists and instructs team members. All work should align with company design specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 6+ years of relevant structural assembly experience
• Preferred: Experience with Solumnia and Smarteam
• Preferred: Q-stamp certification

Essential Functions:
• Utilize specialized skills to aid in the development of employees and techniques; complete tasks
innovatively and effectively.
• Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures, including drilling and riveting operations to
ensure parts/assemblies meet specifications.
• Use complex schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical instructions to perform safe
layout, fabrication, and installation of aircraft parts.
• Adapt to new tasks with minimal impact on established goals and schedules.
• Rivet structural assemblies using various tools (e.g., riveting guns, pneumatic drills, countersinks, rivet
shavers) and remove fasteners without damaging structures.
• Interpret work orders, blueprints, lofts, and operation sheets to determine sequence, type, and size of
rivets, as well as hole patterns and plastics forming.
• Verify work to ensure a defect-free assembly before final inspection.
• Mentor and assist team members with blueprint interpretation, drawing analysis, and resolving production
challenges.
• Maintain logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs).
• Align and assemble parts for riveting using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, and fasteners.
• Execute repairs according to Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Material Review Requests (MRR), and
Production Change Orders (PCO).
• Plan and organize workloads to meet or exceed goal hours and schedules; assist in overseeing projects and
procuring required materials.
• Maintain an orderly work area; support 5S and Lean Initiative programs, adhering to safety regulations.
• Support Lean activities and adhere to all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies.

Other Requirements:
• Proficient with computers and related software
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Skilled in close-tolerance work; knowledgeable in using special tools and equipment
• Able to solve dimensional problems using mathematical formulas, including fractions and decimal
fractions
• Thorough knowledge of multiple measuring devices and ability to use them within tolerance
• Flexible to work any shift
• Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, stands, stairs, and work in confined spaces
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension)
