Job Title: Structure MechanicJob Description
We are seeking an experienced Assembler to perform advanced, specialized, or prototype production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, and subassemblies. This role involves using automated assembly operations and may include providing assembly operation guidance to other assemblers. The ideal candidate should have 15-20 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and assembly.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced, specialized, or prototype production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, and subassemblies using automated assembly operations.
- Provide assembly operation guidance to other assemblers.
- Select correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, standards, and hardware.
- Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems.
- Use manual operations to drill, shim, install, fit, fasten, align, and adjust components.
- Report job constraints such as errors in workmanship, defects in parts or materials, and assembly procedures.
- Perform repairs, rework, functional checks, and incorporate authorized changes as outlined by Lead.
- Ensure regular and predictable attendance.
Essential Skills- 15-20 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Experience with exterior panels, paint, sealant, and ti-foil.
- Experience with composite repair.
- Knowledge of aircraft systems including power, hydraulics, and in-flight entertainment (IFE).
- Systems repair and installations.
- Functional and operational testing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- A&P License (preferred but not required).
- Experience in the aviation industry.

Work Environment
This position requires working onsite with variable shifts, including 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, based on business needs. Successful candidates must complete all screening requirements and undergo training. The dress code includes teamwear provided at the teamwear store. Physical demands include carrying/lifting up to 10-35 pounds.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.00 - $52.00
