Job Description

The contractors will be performing general heavy maintenance on the C 130s L382. This includes B and C checks, and TLR reporting. They will be assigned to a crew and remain with one plane for longevity but must be flexible to move from plane to plane based on priority, demands, and delivery. This is a 6-week project.

Responsibilities

• Perform general heavy maintenance on C 130s L382.
• Conduct B and C checks, and TLR reporting.
• Work within a crew and stay with one plane for extended periods.
• Be flexible to move between planes based on priority and delivery schedules.
• Perform sheet metal repair and aircraft maintenance.

• AME Mechanic / Sheetmetal experience 8+ years
• Current Heavy Maintenance Experience (8+ years minimum)
• Experience with jet, airframe, Lockheed Martin, and sheet metal
• Ability to enter fuel tanks

Work Environment

The work will be conducted inside a facility performing heavy maintenance checks, though at times the aircraft may be outside with heaters or air conditioners provided based on the weather. Crew assignments will depend on the number of employees on-site. All necessary tools will be provided, but personal respirators are required. Various shifts are available, including straight afternoons, weekends, and potential day shifts with rotation. Lodging and airfare are included, with shared cars for transportation and a daily food allowance of $75. Gas for commuting to and from work will be covered, with some additional mileage for groceries.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Abbotsford, British Columbia.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00
