Job Description

We are currently seeking a Structures Technician to perform structural completions and installations on UH-72 and EC-145 aircraft. This is in support of the LUH production contract and is a long-term indefinite contract with the potential for direct hire. The Structures Technician will perform detailed sheetmetal modifications and repairs on multiple airframes or parts as assigned by the lead technician. Tasks include assembly, fabrication, and installation of sheetmetal components or aircraft parts, as well as maintenance and repair of helicopters to support the delivery schedule.

Qualifications

• Trade school or military equivalent in aviation sheetmetal is preferred.
• Minimum six (6) years of Airbus Helicopters and/or applicable vendor STC sheetmetal installation and modification experience is preferred.
• Experience with UH-72, EC-145, EC-135, or BK-117 is preferred but not required.
• Preference for experience with any rotary wing, followed by fixed wing platforms.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily in a hangar or completion center. You will be working with various technologies and equipment to complete your assignments. The hours and shifts may vary based on project requirements, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment is essential. The dress code is typically casual but appropriate for a maintenance and repair setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of COLUMBUS, Mississippi.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.50
