Systems Mechanics - Kansas City, MO

Job Description:

HQ Aero is currently recruiting for an experienced Systems Mechanics in Kansas City, MO.

Responsibilities:

The Systems Mechanic is responsible for the removal and reinstallation of the landing gear, engines and air conditioning systems. Engine and Pneumatics troubleshooting. Utilize OEM and Engineering drawings to modify parts. Rig landing and operational test gear systems and engine systems and routine maintenance on aircraft as required.
Operates in compliance with company safety practices and performs other duties as assigned.
Working on numerous aircraft types including Boeing 737/767/Airbus.

Contract
Available to work weekends and overtime if needed.
Travel Pay Offered

Essential Job Functions

Able to Interpret maintenance manuals, wiring prints, and engineering drawings.
High level of professionalism and attention to details. Able to take direction and fit in with the team.
Good documentation skills for work performed and turnovers.
Work with little or no direction.
Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Good vision and depth perception.
Work Environment: FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.

Job Requirements:

A&P License is required.
Airframe and Powerplant license is required.
Minimum 3 years of Previous Commercial MRO experience is preferred.
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
Standard Tool Kit required.
