Test Technician
Chelmsford, MA
Contract Position
$32.98-$37.98/Hour

Responsibilities:
- Perform testing, tuning, and troubleshooting of mid- to high-complexity military RF microwave hybrid assemblies, including over-temperature testing, vibration, and mechanical shock.
- Conduct thorough testing using specialized, manual, and automated test equipment as outlined in performance specifications and acceptance procedures.
- Operate computer systems to access test procedures, schematics, and data entry for test yield results.
- Perform various electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks, modifications, rework, and quality testing.
- Collaborate with RF Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot products.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma required.
- Clearance Requirements: Interim Secret Clearance.
- Experience:
- Previous experience testing, tuning, and troubleshooting RF microwave hybrid assemblies.
- Proficiency with RF equipment (e.g., RF Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, RF Power Meters, PNA Network Analyzers).
- Ability to work under a microscope for assembly tasks.
- Familiarity with J-STD-001 soldering standards.
- Experience with data analysis for RF microwave test data and writing test procedures.
- Competency in reading and interpreting process sheets and drawings.
- Background in using computer-driven mechanical vibration equipment.
- Experience in ESD and FOD-controlled environments.
- Shift Details: 2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM.
Preferred Experience:
- Demonstrated dexterity and eye/hand coordination for detailed tasks using hand tools (e.g., torque drivers, tweezers).
- Knowledge of maintaining compliance with ESD and FOD procedures.
