Test Technician
Chelmsford, MA
Contract Position
$32.98-$37.98/Hour

Responsibilities:
- Perform testing, tuning, and troubleshooting of complex RF microwave hybrid assemblies, including temperature testing, vibration, and mechanical shock.
- Operate standard and specialized test equipment, including RF Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes, per specifications and test procedures.
- Use computers to access test procedures, schematics, and input test data; complete necessary documentation.
- Conduct electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks and quality testing, collaborating with RF Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering for procedure development and troubleshooting.
- Perform modifications, rework, and utilize hand tools like torque drivers and tweezers for detailed assembly work.
- Ensure compliance with ESD and FOD protocols and handle soldering tasks following J-STD-001 standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma (Bachelor’s degree not required).
- Experience:
- Previous experience with RF microwave hybrid assembly testing and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using RF equipment (e.g., Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers).
- Familiarity with operating computer-driven mechanical vibration equipment.
- Experience with data analysis of RF microwave test data and writing test procedures.
- Experience soldering components according to J-STD-001 standards.
- Skills:
- Ability to work under a microscope for precision assembly.
- Strong eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity.
- Computer proficiency for retrieving documentation and data input.
- Shift: First Shift 10 hours/day Monday-Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm.
