UH-60 Aircraft Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled Helicopter Mechanic specializing in Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) to join our team for a government project. As a PMI Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various helicopter models, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. This role requires adherence to strict maintenance schedules and protocols for government-integrated helicopters, working in collaboration with government and military personnel to support mission-critical operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) on helicopters, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and government requirements.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on rotary-wing aircraft.
• Diagnose malfunctions using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic equipment.
• Document maintenance actions and inspections in compliance with government records management systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and flight test teams to integrate and test modifications, upgrades, or new systems.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM recommendations, and government contracts.
• Conduct detailed inspections of airframes, engines, and components to assess airworthiness and operational safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Assist with the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for helicopter PMI processes.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience performing PMIs or helicopter maintenance.
• Hands-on experience on UH-60 or CH-47 aircraft (S-70 acceptable as well)
• A&P license is a plus, not required
• Experience working with government or military contracts preferred.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and government aviation maintenance standards.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency with maintenance management software and documentation systems.
• Ability to work in a team environment with military personnel and other stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Must pass a standard DOT drug test AND criminal background check.
• US Citizenship required

PAY & SCHEDULE

• Hourly based off experience
• OT time and a half
• SPLIT per diem to those that qualify
• Paid weekly after first week.
• Monday – Thursday 1st Shift
• OT as needed
