Aerotek Aviation is looking for an experienced (Blackhawk) Aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance on UH-60 helicopters. This Mechanic will be responsible for performing a full range of airframe and engine maintenance, repair, modifications, inspections and servicing of aircraft in accordance with approved methods, techniques and practices and certifies work accomplished.
Core Responsibilities:
• Perform the full range of airframe and engine maintenance, repair, modifications, inspections and servicing of aircraft in accordance with approved methods, techniques and practices and certifies work accomplished.
• Troubleshoot engines and systems.
• Perform full system checkout on all aircraft systems.
• Perform mechanic test flight duties.
• Read and understand mechanical manuals and schematics.
• Read and interpret all instruments.
• Use special test equipment and tools required to perform all maintenance/repairs/modifications.
• Familiarity with the Army TAMMS Systems.
Absolute Must Haves:
• 4+ years’ experience on Army UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters (any H-60 variant will be accepted)
• US Army Experience, or another military branch (Navy, Airforce ect)
• Tools etched and shadowed.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Military Clearance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr.
