Job Title: Aircraft Structures Mechanic- A&P Licensed Mechanic: $65/hour (structures, per diem), $50/hour (structures, local)
- Unlicensed Mechanic: $60/hour (structures, per diem), $45/hour (structures, local)

Selected Candidates Will Have:- 4+ years of aircraft heavy maintenance or structures experience. Please clearly indicate on your resume your aircraft platform experience and years of experience with aircraft maintenance and modifications.
- Demonstrated experience with preserving aircraft structure, sealing, shimming, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and retrofit requirements to perform modifications and aircraft servicing.
- Demonstrated experience on close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical support structures including doublers, triplers, seat tracks, planks, stringers, etc.
- The ability to obtain customer approval for aircraft access - Boeing badge and security clearance
Job Description- We are seeking experienced structures mechanics to support the VC-25B Program in San Antonio, TX. The selected candidate will maintain, repair, and modify aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty.
- This includes maintaining and repairing aircraft components such as flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
- The role requires applying technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment condition or operation.
- The mechanic will also solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturers manuals.
Responsibilities- Perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical support structures and fracture critical areas.
- Locate blind holes necessary for the installation of new structural items to existing structures.
- Perform efforts associated with sealing, painting, shimming, and preserving structure in accordance with standard repair processes.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modification/repair.
- Access and manipulate computer systems daily for work instructions, drawings, and training.
- Use tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of structural parts.
- Provide guidance and technical expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts.
- Operate a forklift, mobile crane, and riding type electric powered elevating equipment to accomplish work assignments.
- Maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits as required for assigned work.
- Work various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
- Prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.
- Make entries in aircraft logs and records as required.

Work Environment
This position requires the ability to ascend and descend vertical work ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift loads of approximately 35 pounds. There will be exposure to noise and working on elevated platforms. Personal protective gear for face, eyes, ears, hands, and arms is required. Candidates must pass visual acuity and color perception tests, be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language, handle hazardous materials, and maintain necessary training certifications. Work may require frequent standing, walking, climbing, and reaching overhead, as well as occasional finger manipulation, balancing on ladders, and working in various positions. Candidates must be available to work variable shifts based on business needs, including weekends and holidays. Mission requirements may necessitate both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
