ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS MAY BE IDENTIFIED BY THE ORGANIZATION AND LISTED AS SUCH IN THE INCUMBENT’S PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL ELEMENTS. VARIOUS TASKS MAY BE ASSIGNED UNDER EACH ESSENTIAL FUNCTION. THOSE THAT ARE LISTED UNDER THE EXAMPLES OF WORK ARE NOT ALL INCLUSIVE; THEY ARE EXAMPLES ONLY AND MAY BE AMENDED OR ADDED TO AS NEEDED BY THE ORGANIZATION.
Designs, determines, and illustrates repair production sequence;
Creates work planning and work process drawings, catalogs, flow charts, and other data relative to aircraft build, removal, replacement and reinstallation actions;
Establishes forecast and coordinates a schedule for long term down aircraft return to service;
Maintains and/or completes required records and files;
Must be capable of preparing aircraft modification/alteration/repair presentations;
Prepares and presents Planning & Estimate reports;
Must work in harmony with other employees;
Must be capable of effective daily liaison with site, program, and corporate management;
Coordinates daily with site/program supply personnel to ensure up to date status of logistical support;
Must be able to work independently without direct supervision;
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills;
Must be capable of maintaining effective liaison with Government Representatives, OEM, Vendors, and other employees, as required;
Must possess computer- related skills associated with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Project
Must have five (5) years experience in a mechanical / technical / logistical position related to aircraft maintenance and material support, preferably with the T-45 aircraft and operations.
Must have current knowledge of COMNAVAIRINST 4790 Series Programs, NALCOMIS Familiarization, ORM, ISO 9100 and AS9110 Programs.
Must possesses extensive working knowledge of contracted programs, company organization and policies.
Familiarity with aircraft structural and electrical systems, tools, drawings, schematics and aviation/industrial safety requirements is a plus.
Must have extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office Programs.
