Location: Greencastle, PA
Available Shifts:
- 2nd Shift: Mon-Thur 4pm to 2am (Potential weekend OT)
- Weekend Shift: Fri, Sat & Sun 5am to 5pm (40 hours paid + potential weekday OT)
Position Summary:
Join STS Technical Services as a Welder and operate welding equipment to build high-quality parts, subassemblies, and finished products. Weldments vary in type, size, and direction while being performed on various production lines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pass the Welder Qualification test and recertify as required.
- Operate an overhead crane to maneuver parts for welding.
- Adjust welder configurations for quality weldments.
- Heat and form metal parts using hand tools, torch, or welding equipment.
- Weld components in flat and vertical positions.
- Accurately read and operate measuring devices.
- Position, assemble, and weld parts as outlined on blueprints.
- Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or 1+ year of relevant experience.
- Pass internal welder certification test and recertify as needed.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Welding Certification through an educational institution.
- 1+ year(s) of welding experience in a manufacturing industry.
