As working student you support the department in Procurement Commodity for Space Systems.As an intern you will acquire an in-depth insight into divisional sourcing for Space System products and external customer. You will learn how to manage a Call for Tender, to negotiate with suppliers and to ensure their development according with Airbus strategies.
Definition working studentWorking students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.
This employment usually takes place directly on the company&39;s premises. A working student&39;s main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.
Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your tasks and responsibilitiesAssisting in the identification and gathering of purchasing potentials.
Independent request of one time procured simple mechanical components or parts.
Support to Commodity Manager to launch RFI/RFP events (via the Airbus DS procurement tool).
Price Comparison of offers.
Assist to Commodity Manager on the preparation and negotiation of supplier proposals
Special tasks. e.g. project tasks to support team leaders, as for example:
Administrative Support (preparing presentations, analyses (spend, savings, ad hoc requests)
Internal Reporting for the department
Support in bureaucracy with contractual documents (Contracts, NDAs, etc)
Desired skills and qualificationsEnrolled full time student (d/f/m) within Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Procurement or similar field of study
Very good MS Office knowledge
Google Workspace knowledge
Discretion mandatory - strong focus on accuracy
Fluency in English is mandatory
German / French / Spanish would be a plus
