Qatar Airways is looking for an experienced staff to join our account receivables team as Team lead to drive its newly established Global Business Services (GBS) operations in Ahmedabad, India.
The position will be responsible for overall delivery of account receivables sub process ensuring seamless service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing & approving transactions processed by AR accountants like cash application, credit/ debit notes, reports etc.
- Ensuring timely raising of invoices for non-ticket sales by accountants
- Ensuring timely accounting, proper reconciliation, set-off AR transactions
- Liaison with stations/ customers/ banks/ BPO for follow up on pending customer issues
- Liaison with stations to ensure timely recovery of outstanding amount from customers & strategic business units
- Ensuring timely preparation of month end schedule for AR reconciliation
- Support, escalate & lead dispute resolution issues
- Reviewing MIS reports & dashboards created by Accountant & publish to stakeholders
- Working with IT business support to develop mix & match from IATA/ GDS, Oracles, revenue accounting system BPO
- Performing other duties as directed by HOD

Qualifications- Bachelor’s/ Masters degree or equivalent in Commerce/ Finance/ Accounting with relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
- Relevant experience in S2C AR process
- Experience in Senior management reporting, business control role at BU/ GBS
- Team lead in global business organization
- Prefer candidates from Airline industry
- Knowledge of oracle ERP
- Strong communication skills
