Description:Sikorsky a Lockheed Martin Company is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced helicopters for commercial and military missions. This role will support the Aerostructures group which is responsible for the structural assembly of our fixed wing aircraft in Stratford, CT. We are looking for an Aero-structure Supervisor who will provide supervision and oversight to a team of hourly bargaining unit employees engaged in the major assemblies and complete aircraft structures. This individual will ensure all components are completed according to blueprint requirements and delivered to the customer in a timely manner. Other Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsible for team’s productivity while adhering to safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements Responsible for transition of work requirements between shifts. Manage and approve employee(s) timekeeping in SAPParticipate in meetings throughout the day. Manage employee development; must be able to develop employees skills and prepare them for future job assignments. Responsible for continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring standard work and environment, health and safety (EH&S) requirements are met. Comply with all company ethics policies, principles, and practices Manage direct and indirect budget. Selected candidate will require to work in 1st shift with occasional need to work extended week works which could include Saturday’s and or select Sunday’s.

Must be willing to work weekends as needed

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
