Job Description:
Airbus UpNext is looking for the Satellite System Lead for a new demonstrator, aiming at demonstrating 5G Non-Terrestrial-Network capabilities based on space platforms.
The demonstrator team will deliver an extremely ambitious and disruptive demonstrator, explore and show feasibility of many new technologies and with this support the strategic ambitions of Airbus. As such, be prepared for a wild ride, testing unconventional ways of driving a project at a fast pace, and be ready for many pivots throughout, as we will explore the unknown. In this context you will bring in your technical knowledge about satellite design and its various subsystems, software design as well as overall integration.
As the Satellite System Lead of the demo, your role is to pilot all satellite activities (design, performances AIT, LEOP and operation in flight support).
This position is based in Toulouse, and we will collaborate with teams across Europe and an international partnership landscape.
This job comes with a 3 year CDI-C contract.

Experience in satellite architecture (incl mechanical, thermal, power, DHS…), functional avionics & functional validation, satellite assembly, integration and testing
