Tasks
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee all aspects of aircraft handling to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality
- Coordinate Weight and Balance documentation with LHG Centralized Load Control
- Supervise ramp functions and service partners during loading/unloading processes
- Ensure proper cargo security, including luggage, mail, and cargo tie-downs
- Manage fueling, catering, cleaning, and passenger boarding/deboarding activities
- Conduct safety/load security checks and monitor performance during irregularities
- Implement new procedures and support process improvements
- Provide performance reports and document delays with reasons
- Motivate teams to maintain high standards and uphold Lufthansa’s core values
* Perform other tasks and/or projects, as assigned

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-3 years of work experience desirable in aircraft handling or knowledge of passenger handling and gate processes
- Fluency in English language required
- German language skills desirable
- Knowledge of LHG specific or other airlines
- Knowledge of airport procedures and processes
- Successful completion of Training in Aircraft Handling (including DCS systems)
- Valid ALS Qualification
- Knowledge of Emergency Response (SERP) planning
- Knowledge of passenger handling and gate processes preferred
- PC skills including all MS Office programs
- Must possess permit to work in Canada
- Assessment screening
- Willingness to travel
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be willing to travel to our remote stations upon agreeing with SM
