As Aircraft Maintenance Manager II, you will be responsible for all activities performed within your assigned hangar(s). This includes but is not limited to planning all aircraft repairs, scheduling maintenance activities, driving a ‘safety first’ culture, maintaining schedule to ensure an on-time with-in budget release of aircraft. Youll ensure all projects are properly staffed with qualified employees and establish work standards. Youll also review maintenance delays and system problems to suggest improvements to maintenance processes and procedures. You will have overall responsibility for the airworthiness of the aircraft in your hangar(s). Lastly you will be responsible for managing the employees assigned to your hangar(s). This includes development, mentoring, training, rewarding, disciplining and holding employees accountable.Salary & Benefits:
- 4 – day work week, (minimum 40 hours a week)

Qualifications You Must Have:
- B.A. (or equivalent degree) - a higher level degree may substitute for relevant experience
- Typically, 8+ years of progressive aviation experience, which includes 4+ years of management experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a Part 145 Repair Station environment
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant certification
- Familiarity with FAA regulations, policies, and procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge with aviation safety standards, safe operating practices, aircraft maintenance and inspection processes, procedures and/or returning planes to service
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and conflict resolution skills
- Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
- Previous experience with Corridor
- Experience with computerized maintenance tracking systems (CAMP, Traxall, Cescom, etc.)
- Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation
- Previous experience with heavy repair and modification of both metallic and composite structures
