We are looking for a Airworthiness Limitations Section (ALS) Manager (m/f) for our Commercial Aircraft business to join our Maintenance Program Organization within the Customer Services department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a diverse team of people developing maintenance programs which is part of a trans-national organization gathering similar teams in Airbus Core Countries and USA. 

The role will work closely with the Airworthiness Limitations Section (ALS) community, the certification teams and the continued airworthiness teams to analyze, incorporate and challenge maintenance requirements arising from ALS Parts.

Your challenges:

  • Being the voice of operators to challenge the arising inspection requirements, by balancing product safety and operation & maintenance cost

  • Facilitating communications to the customers on technical topics status and progress, including WISE (World InService Experience) articles authoring, webinar and forums organization when deems needed

  • Anticipating recurring queries with continuous improvement of ALS Parts and liaising/supporting front desk by formulating the answers, sharing feedback with the teams about the hot technical topics

  • Monitoring the in-service data for ALS inspections

  • Supporting ALS Technical Coordinator to set-up KPIs and keeping the KPIs alive

  • Leading the projects of Tailored ALS Parts when needed

  • Supporting the teams for knowledge capitalization related activities

  • Identifying the performance improvement needs

  • Recommending contribution to external events and mentoring team members accordingly

  • Drum-beating the INAD (Fatigue In-service Need Anticipation Dossier) review for all the programs (except A220 and Military Derivatives)

Your boarding pass:

  • Knowledgeable graduated engineer with 5 to 10 years of professional experience in aeronautical field preferably in engineering support or on aircraft maintenance.

  • Knowledge of Continued Airworthiness and Certification processes

  • Experience in Airline or Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO) would be appreciated

  • Knowledge in Tech Data would be a plus

  • Good general knowledge of aircraft systems and structure on modern civil aircraft

  • Good presentation and influencing skills, both oral and written.

  • Negotiation level in English, both oral and written


 

Salary range based on the required profile: 53 to 64 K/year (including a variable part based on your performance). Information provided as an indication.
