Responsibilities
Position SummaryThe Assistant Director of People Development & Inclusion leads a team to drive content and facilitation of our current programs and future development of these programs. This role oversees the creation design, and delivery of all people leadership and development programs for PSA employees.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervises and coaches a team of the Inclusion and Engagement team members; supports key development in their roles.
- Leads all key PSA leadership and development programs from inception to review, continually monitors the overall effectiveness of our programs and works to have a futuristic approach to evolving the success of our programs.
- Works closely with the Director of People Development & Inclusion to evolve the marketing vision of our internal leadership and development programs, works to update how our programs are packaged at PSA.
- Works collaboratively with the People Development team, Leaders of key departments, marketing stakeholders to determine most effective content and marketing of each program internally and externally.
- Develops a high level of expertise for critical department development needs and stimulates enthusiasm for additional content development and program updates.
- Works closely with Director of People Development & Inclusion to gain buy-in on further content development.
- Leads development of curriculum, training manuals, guides, visuals, presentations and program plans that serve as educational materials for employees.
- Facilitates key PSA Leadership and Development Programs, including NHO, Train the Trainer NHO, New Leader Orientation, Leading the Way/Recurrent, Implicit Bias Training, Fundamentals of Leadership, and other programs as needed.
- Presents information through a variety of instructional methods (LMS, Webex, In Person, discussions, etc.).
- Leads the Executive Summary and engagement process for circulating real-time feedback and qualitative data helped to drive future enhancements to our programs.
- Participates in and drives the Leadership Action Development Program, works closely with key leaders to determine continued effectiveness of the new program.
- Works closely with the Talent Management to bring the Culture Add Assessment and Leadership Assessment to align with our current program development that will help follow the lifecycle of our new team members.
- Works closely with Talent Management to bring new Outmatch products to our team; reviews, evaluates, makes recommendations for how to use programs with our culture add assessments.
- Supports and drives development of any programs related to our key characteristics and strategic objectives.
- Responsible for the Companys Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Specifics
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor’s degree in Training or related field, or advanced degree.
- At least five years of experience in Leadership and Development training to include: instructional design, curriculum development and instruction/facilitation
- At least 2 years of previous supervisory/managerial experience
- Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office programs with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint.
- Experience with Learning Management System(LMS) software
- Ability to speak/read/write in English
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US
Preferred
- Proficient in using on-line learning authoring software such as Adobe Presenter, Articulate, Captivate or other preferred.
Additional Information
Supervisory Responsibility: This is a supervisor position.
Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to the Director of People Development and Inclusion.
Authorities: None.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
