Role Introduction
Reports To: Business Development Manager
This position is mainly responsible for the promotion of Asia Miles by Cathay in mainland China, especially the GBA region, and assists the BD manager to expand and maintain customers in the banking & payment industry.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce, spanet analysis and sales support
- Support to plan and execute the yearly/monthly e-commerce plan based on knowledge of e-commerce platform, industry practice and team strategy, to acquire new shoppers and convert current shoppers to achieve revenue targets;
- Work collaboratively internally with travel, sales teams, etc. in the group eco-system to secure shop gateways and acquire traffic to shop;
- Work collaboratively with spaneting, digital experience team to optimize in-shop engagement and conversion to achieve member satisfaction and sales targets;
- Support the shop operation on daily basis, to ensure the appropriate assortment is on-site according to the product launch calendar, monitor and update to promote the key products based on inventory, spaneting calendar, key launches and overall Merchandising Guidelines.
Business Development and Revenue Generation
- Support the current partner operation/relationship maintenance and a plus to develop Non-Air Lifestyle Partnership for both earn, points conversion and redemption (Payment, Retail, Wellness, Dining, Holiday, and other relevant pillars to Chinese mainland spanet) to meet revenue targets
- Strengthen collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to identify new business development opportunities
- Plan and implement spaneting campaigns with partners to drive for more miles accrual and redemption and improve customer experience
- Monitor the performance of non-air partnerships with analysis, reporting and research
Stakeholder Management
- Engage and manage external stakeholders such as vendors to implement e-commerce operation, or establish & sustain a good working relationship with clients, and partners
Requirements
- Degree holder of Marketing, Business Studies or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience, ideally with knowledge of consumer industry, lifestyle retail, hotel or travel industries and loyalty programmes
- Proven track record in e-commerce or product sales and spanet expansion
- Good understanding of consumer spanet and e-commerce retail practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Track record in deliver sales target especially in consumer, lifestyle retail or travel industries a plus.
- Strong network and connection among the consumer brands, lifestyle retail, commercial real estate or hotel is preferred. Relevant experience with travel related partners is a plus.
- Creative, dynamic and innovative
- Good numerical and analytical skills are also required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Willing to travel when required
