- Prior service in a military or government aviation maintenance environment
- Minimum 8 years’ experience performing responsibilities as a Quality Assurance Representative or equivalent
- Proficiency in organizational-level maintenance procedures and processes
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical/business discipline or 6 additional years’ experience
- Must demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of quality management concepts, techniques, tools, and procedures
- Must have completed the Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS) (Optimized) Organizational Level Maintenance Activity (OMA) Naval Aviation Quality Assurance Administration Course (Course C-555-0046)
- Throughout in-depth knowledge of the CNAFINST 4790.2 series
- Knowledge of DCMAINST 8210.1_series
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration
- Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one
Preferred:
- Experienced and qualified on the CH53E/K aircraft
- Served in a prior position as a Quality Assurance Chief at an O level Squadron
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license or equivalent military certification
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and manipulate 50lbs independently when needed
- Must be able to climb on ladders if needed
- Must be able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs
- Position involves long periods of standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling on aircraft structure and around aircraft for maintenance functions
- Position may require working in a confined workspace
- Position may require use / exposure to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and cleaning solvents
- Position is located in a high noise area within an aircraft hangar / flightline environment
- FIT for Duty Physical is required
- May require DOT and Respiratory Physicals
