The Manager of Aviation Operations will report to the Director of Aviation and oversee and manage all aspects of the corporate aviation department, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the companys aviation assets. This is a non-flying and non-pilot role which requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in aviation operations, a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, and the ability to manage a team of aviation professionals.

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of FAA regulations and corporate aviation standards.

• Assist in providing strategic direction and leadership to the aviation operations team.
• Participate in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of aviation staff and support staff as directed by the Director of Aviation
• Ensure all flight operations comply with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Manage the scheduling and dispatching of aircraft to meet corporate travel needs of the firm.
• Develop and manage the aviation departments budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Monitor and control operational expenses, including vendor oversight.
• Assist in the negotiation contracts with vendors and service providers to optimize costs and service quality.

• Promote a culture of safety within the aviation department.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable aviation regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Participate in the development of long-term plans for the aviation department, including vendor management, technology upgrades, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with senior firm management and c-suite to align aviation operations with corporate goals and objectives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, recommending and implementing changes to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

• This position may require occasional travel.
