Job Description: Avionic Supervisor (Chinook)
Job Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of avionic technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of aircraft avionic systems working on the Chinook aircraft.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Plan and schedule work assignments to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
- Inspect and test avionic systems to identify and resolve issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Avionic Supervisor or similar role in the aerospace industry.
- Hold relevant certifications in avionics or electronics.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft avionic systems and components.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
- Minimum of Apprentice trained or Military equivalent.
Experience:
- Experience in avionics maintenance and repair.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of aviation regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in using avionics testing equipment and tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
