As the BusinessDevelopment Lead - Thermal Solutions/Thermal Interface Materials, youll beresponsible to create and develop new opportunities for the Thermal InterfaceMaterials Products lines, focused primarily in North American and Europe. Developingnew opportunities, working closely with customers and the business/technicalteams to qualify our products in current markets and expanding to adjacentmarkets/ application.  Working closelywith sales account Lead, develop a sales pipeline and creation of newpartnerships and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Discovers and explores new business opportunities.
  • Focus on new customer acquisition and expanding offerings with existing customers.
  • Builds HON market position by locating, developing, and defining, business relationships, evaluates potential business opportunities by analyzing technical needs, market requirements, and financials.
  • Manage the business development forecast to ensure accuracy and alignment with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and provide accurate data to finance, ISC and sales management monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Be able to consistently achieve quarterly business development objectives while building pipeline for future periods.
  • Leverage existing network and build the understanding of the industry for segmentation data and market intelligence
  • Research businesses and map organizations to understand likely needs, entry points and key decision makers
  • Utilize effective written and verbal communication skills along with presentation skills to connect with prospective customers.
  • Provide business and technical support as needed during testing, sampling, qualification stages.
  • Advocate on behalf of our target customers with our product development team
  • Collaborate with sales Leads globally to gather information, provide direction/strategy, and ensure seamless coordination with customer in hand off to high volume manufacturing.

LI-Remote 

You Must Have:

  • 7+ years proven experience in sales/business development with strong demonstrated results.
  • Prior experience with new customer acquisition and expanding offerings with existing customers.
  • Ability to influence decision makers throughout the chain
  • Contract Management experience / negotiating long-term agreements with external suppliers, customers and/or distributor partners in a Sales/business development background.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM suite
    Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as ability to present to internal and external customers.
  • 25-35 travel required

Compensation & Benefits:
Incentive Eligible
Salary Range: $124000.00-$155,000.00
