Job Description:
Job Summary:
The ATR Business Development Manager is in charge of promoting ATR products and services to airline customers in Japan, understanding market trends, industrial environment, and specific customer needs. He/She manages projects to execute business strategies, working with the teams in Headquarters through cross-function collaborations. He/ She is a focal point for airline customers on all matters and concerns.
Main Responsibilities:
Support ATR in developing its Japan strategy
Present and explain ATR strategy, products and services to customers
Support the creation of business cases to be presented to customers
Capture airline’s needs and local constraints, and share intelligence with teams in headquarters
Manage the performance of the contract with customers
Lead monitoring of targets and goals with internal stakeholders
Develop and maintain the relationship with the airline customers including top managements
Develop and maintain a network in headquarters to find solutions quickly to concerns raised by customers
Act as an essential partner to the Headquarters sales team
Act as a cultural and business bridge between the Japanese customers and the ATR teams based in other countries to ensure ATR provides the best and proactive service and products to the customer
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Professional Experience
Bachelor degree
Experience in sales in Japan
Experience in the aerospace industry
Preferable: knowledge of world and local aviation regulations and restricitions
Preferable: financial knowledge
Skills and Abilities
Ability to establish a deep and mutually respectful relationship with customers
Ability to handle customer relationship at top management level
General technical background
Ability to work in an international environment
Experience in negotionating contracts and handling conflicts
Experience in reviewing legal contracts in English
Ability to multitask
Business level English
Working Conditions/ Environment:
The position is based in Tokyo and frequent travel abroad as well as occasional travel domestically.
