THE WORK
CAFO Romeo platform Quality Manager to oversee the execution of company, customer, and DCMA quality requirements. Responsible for all aspects of Quality across the aircraft production process including supporting, regulatory and contract requirements. Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems and suppliers/subcontractors, and customers. Proficient in company policies, DAFR Requirements, and AS9100. Partners with operations, programs, and engineering to meet Safety, Quality and Contract requirements. Establishes quality budgets and cost commitments. Ensures Quality assurance plans are documented, current and implemented. Ensures compliance with customer, company and 3rd party audits and corrective actions are supported and maintained. Participates in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans. Has the ability to manage and oversee salary leaders and the represented work force. Maintains a DCMA/Customer quality relationship. Establishes and maintains effective Quality Program Team business rhythm.

Basic Qualifications:
Degree in Manufacturing, Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering 10 to 15 years’ experience in aviation or equivalent experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
Desired Skills:
Understanding of Aircraft Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering relating to aviation and aircraft assembly, component assembly and installation, special process, blueprint reading, interpretation of specifications and standards.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
