Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has an opportunity in Fort Worth, Texas for a senior Systems Engineer supporting the Joint Strike Fighter/Ground Support Equipment Sustainment Solution team/Change Management Team. As an experienced hire on our Systems Engineering team, you can help us take on the world’s most important and complex challenges by providing solutions to a variety of technical problems by applying extensive technical expertise to develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. In this important role will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals and interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters. The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.

Position Responsibilities performed independently with limited supervision. May be performed in a project leadership capacity.

• Supports risk assessments and risk mitigation plans, including balancing technical risks between systems.
• Leverages Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to support the development of functional, architectural, and detailed designs. Incrementally develops design to provide added or updated functionality based on operational scenarios and customer requirements.
• Manages key aspects of the technical implementation of the program, by collaborating across a number of disciplines to ensure that technical parameters, interfaces, and assumptions are consistent across disciplines, and interfacing with stakeholders (e.g., engineering, technical staff, client) to ensure program goals are met.
• Orchestrates cross-functional collaboration opportunities to ensure best practices and domain knowledge are shared.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
• Preferred knowledge of the systems engineering life cycle, change Integration Management principles, methodologies, tools and processes
• Possesses critical Cross IPT/Cross Corporation/Cross Customer integration skills.
• Ability to develop and communicate fully integrated solutions for F35 support equipment issues including sustainment and production impacts.

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance

• Demonstrated familiarity and experience with F-35 Ground Support Equipment System and Technology Integration, as well as program of record tools
• Excellent written, verbal communication and active listening skills
• Familiarity and experience working in an Agile environment and utilizing collaborative tools
• Possess problem solving and root-cause identification skills
• Well-developed relationship and consultative skills, including proven ability to influence, ability to establish and maintain broad networks and relationships
• Ability to interact with all organizational levels with credibility, and ability to manage conflict with key stakeholders that results in desired outcomes
• Demonstrated expertise working with a System Development Life Cycle across multiple phases

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
