The role:

An exciting opportunity to join British Airways as a Colleague Experience Manager has arisen!

Reporting directly into the Head of Colleague Experience, you will deliver our colleague experience strategy by supporting the business to drive efficiency through improved products and services that innovate, aid retention, and build a great employer brand to attract new talent.

What you’ll do:
  • Develop and drive the formation of all colleague experience transformation initiatives and projects, working closely with external partners where required.
  • Understand and optimise each stage of the colleague life cycle, crafting a positive and productive work environment, encouraging employee satisfaction, and retaining top talent.
  • Collaborate with our People Business Partners to bring key topics and initiatives to life.
  • Offer guidance and expertise to members of the Executive Committee and senior leadership teams, providing insights into the colleague experience within their respective areas of the business.
About you:
  • Strong communication skills and able to challenge and influence through reasoned arguments, often leading indirect teams to achieve output.
  • Champions innovation and able to develop and drive an effective strategy that aligns to our organisational goals.
  • Empathetic and successfully able to balance business objectives with our colleagues needs.
  • Analytical mind-set and able to track and recognise data trends that inform decision making.
Your experience:
  • Programme/project management qualification or relevant experience is essential.
  • Track record of managing successful relationships at a senior level is preferable.
  • Experience of leading in an employee experience/engagement team.
