Job Description SummaryAs the Compliance Strategic Transformation Leader, you will be focused on optimizing processes and programming for the GE Aerospace Compliance team. This includes the development and execution of strategic transformation for the Compliance function, building out a process transformation roadmap, implementing Flight Deck, and coordinating Compliance priorities.

Job Description

  • Assist Chief Compliance Officer with the development & execution of strategic transformation for Compliance function – program manage & partner with pillar leaders to strategically develop and execute ongoing transformation projects and read-across actions and understand connectivity between distinct pillar projects to help prioritize, gain efficiencies in deployment, and keep projects on track.
  • Partner with CCO on creation of executive level reporting and presentations, including Board and Compliance Review Board content, in collaboration with pillar leaders and Risk Focals.
  • Create and execute vision on how compliance organization can work more efficiently and eliminate waste through the use of LEAN and Flight Deck.
  • Own Flight Deck Implementation across the organization, including an organizational capability building strategy, creation and management of KPIs, Bowlers, and other LEAN tools, and drive accountability and tracking of Compliance Priorities.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of Compliance team including budget, team meetings, staff meetings, all-hands, etc.
  • Managing the Compliance Org’s external connectivity, including with Ethisphere, Gartner, and The Worlds Most Ethical Companies submission
  • Establish processes to ensure easy access and sharing of information across team and assimilation of new joiners

Required Qualifications

  • At least eight (8) years working in the Audit, Operations, Program Management, or Compliance organization of a large, global company.  
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of relevant experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 20 of time both domestic or international.

Desired Characteristics

  • Familiarity with the key processes used by the Compliance organization
  • Familiarity with GE Aerospace Compliance organization, its Leadership Team and the changes the operation has experienced in the last few years.
  • Previous experience with transformation efforts.
  • Lean expertise.
  • Project management skills
  • Prior experience leading and program managing change
  • Ability to communicate clearly & succinctly to senior audiences
  • Strong execution mindset
  • Comfortable and effective working and influencing across the matrix.
  • Have a can-do attitude & a mind-set of continuous improvement.
