Honeywells ACST team is seeking a Contract Lead for our Golden Valley, MN location.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

 

•       Manage contractual agreements and associated documentation throughout the contract life cycle (RFP to Final Contract Closeout) for government and commercial contracts

•       Lead Negotiations and draft complex agreements in support of the Request for Proposal (RFP) process

•       Execute business objectives and ensure implementation of sound contract management and risk assessment policies

•       Draft and negotiate contractual provisions with the United States Government and Commercial entities

•       Provide consistent guidance for the Program Teams with respect to doing business with the U.S. Government, inclusive of Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA), FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations) compliance, and other applicable statutory and regulatory requirements

•       Assist the Program Teams with the drafting and review of proposed Modifications to underlying contracts

•       Provide advice regarding contractual rights, remedies and alternatives, including defenses in the event of project delays or disputes

•       Review claims (e.g., T4D, T4C, Cure Notice, Notice of Default, etc.) asserted by the U.S. Government and assist the Program Teams with necessary responses thereto

•       Train the Program Teams on terms and conditions, corporate policies, regulatory/compliance requirements and risk mitigation

•       Develop and revise, as necessary, associated contractual documents (NDAs, MOUs, commercial terms and conditions) with support from ACST Legal

•       Understand financial concepts (e.g., cash flow, return on investment, etc.) and the impact of contract terms on such concepts and proposed projects

 

•       Citizenship Required: United States Citizenship

•       Clearance Required: Yes; you must either currently have or be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance

•       Travel Required: Some travel required - 20

        Relocation Assistance: Relocation assistance may be available

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE:

•       Bachelors degree

•       3+ years of experience with the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations) for commercial and non-commercial contracts

•       Must be a US Citizen due to contract requirements, and in order to obtain and maintain government security clearance
