Description:This position is to support the Precision Fires Line of Business at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control located in Grand Prairie, Texas. Specifically, the role will support the Launcher Teams and take on other various roles and assignments.

The candidate will:

- Perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration.

- Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations.

- Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives.

- Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and customer concerns related to company performance.

- Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions.

- Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance.

- Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.

- May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company. Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area-requests.

The position will require onsite work >50 of the time and occasional travel is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with US Government and/or International customers and contracts

- Experience with contract negotiations

- Experience with FAR and DFARS

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
Desired Skills:
- Cost Type, Fixed Price, and Incentive Fee Contracting Type knowledge

- Electronic Contracting Environment (ECE)- experience

- FMS Contracting Experience

- Ability to engage in routine and unique problems / issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts

- Proven ability to develop internal and external relationships

- Ability to coordinate DCAA and DCMA activities including audits, financing payments, etc.

- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

- Experience working autonomously with general direction

- Experience handling multiple, widely-varied assignments

- Experience problem solving, including identifying issues and developing solutions

- Must be proficient in the use of a computer and applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point

- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills

- Detail oriented and self-starter and teamwork oriented

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
