The Sikorsky Maritime Systems (MMS) market segment is seeking a skilled contracts professional to join its Naval Helicopter Program (NHP) Sub-Market Segment. This individual will work in a fast-paced environment managing contracts, negotiating directly with U.S. Government customers and interacting with their respective programmatic teams.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• All aspects of contract administration including proposal support and negotiation, post-award contract administration, scope management, interface with key subcontractors and contract closeout. Providing guidance, advice and counsel to Sikorsky programmatic and technical staff regarding contract interpretation issues, contract scope issues, and other contract-related matters.
• Review and evaluate customer requests for proposal or revisions to contracts; provides risk assessments and offers alternative approaches to mitigate risks, including alternative contractual language; evaluates and coordinates proposals; investigates and reconciles significant contract changes involving cost, specifications, schedules, etc.
• Develops and applies solutions to complex problems which require the regular use a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers, including Government contract specialists and DCMA.
• Lead efforts to ensure preparation and execution of timely and accurate contract delivery documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree. Considered an emerging authority.

Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Experience in Federal Government contracting with proposals, administration and negotiations, program management, or a related field.
• Solid understanding and familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), including intellectual property rules.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the organization and with external customers.
• Team player who is a problem solver and self-starter.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments concurrently.
• Ability to complete tasks with minimal oversight and supervision.
• NCMA certification(s)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $91,300 - $175,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $105,000 - $197,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
