Description:This is a great opportunity to serve one of your countrys most important missions - the United States Special Operations Forces. The program provides a variety of Life Cycle Sustainment Activities (LCSA), Production, Modification and Integration, as well as Streamlined Design and Rapid Prototyping services to USSOCOM. The Contracts team needs people with strong business skills and a desire to grow and develop their career within business management. Join our Contracts team and become a part of something special! The successful candidate will serve as a key player in the administrative and supporting roles underpinning the Contracts Management organization and forming the basis for financial management of contract execution. This employee must maintain timely and accurate communications, primarily internally, to ensure critical contractual information is disseminated properly. This individual will also be a primary point of contact for filing all contractual correspondence in the appropriate repositories so that it can be retrieved as needed. Timely and accurate entry of contractual documentation and data into the Electronic Contracting System is a critical role performed in support of the entire Contracts Management team.
Basic Qualifications:
(1) MUST have and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
(2) A focus on customer relationships (primarily internal) in executing position requirements; strong relational capacity, with an ability to tactfully influence teammates.
(3) Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas and positions in both oral and written form.
(4) Attention to detail.
(5) Self-motivated.
(6) Effective use of MS Office products in a business environment including professional writing, presentations, data management, and analysis of business information.
(7) Works effectively in a team, but able to excel when working on individual tasks.
Desired Skills:
(1) Familiar with the formation of a contract and its essential elements.
(2) Able to effectively support short timelines and multiple priorities
(3) Advanced knowledge and use of MS Office products, visual basic for excel, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, etc.
(4) Within management guidance, able to set priorities effectively and work independently with limited direct oversight of daily tasks.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
