Tasks
The Customer Service Manager is responsible for:
- Central contact for major accounts, reporting to Head of Customer Service in Hamburg
- Administrating repair events for airline customers in the region
- Negotiating sales orders with airline and aviation MRO customers
- Building a relationship network in the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey
- Monitoring and developing the account’s due payment process
- Handling, coordinating, and documenting customer queries
- Managing local material with external service providers
- Arranging and documenting material supply measures
- Coordinating the return of equipment to the customer and/or repair facilities
- Handling special assignments and projects
Requirements
The ideal Customer Service Manager should meet the following requirements:
- A-level/High School Diploma or equivalent
- Technical education in aeronautical engineering, aviation, or similar
- Experience in business analytics, material management, or aircraft maintenance
- Commercial responsibility experience
- Advanced IT skills (MS Office, SAP R/3)
- Fluent in English (German or other languages a plus)
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, under pressure
- Willingness to travel and work abroad
