Key Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for all aspects of pricing of a multibillion-dollar entity including route pricing strategy, customer segmentation, product differentiation, pricing systems development, competitive intelligence etc.. The role will collaborate closely with sales and other partners and communicate strategies to senior leadership.

  • Manage day-to-day pricing issues that may arise as well as long-term strategies that improve company revenues
  • Keep abreast of competitive information and resolve appropriate pricing posture with respect to that, given other factors such as schedule and advance bookings.
  • Awareness of how the current environment may impact booking trends.
  • Direct several managers who supervise teams of analysts who are individual responsible for fare filings.
  • Report on pricing environment and strategy to Senior leadership
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Masters degree & Preferred CISSP, CISA, or CISM certification preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management or pricing
  • 12 + Years of related airline pricing experience
  • Previous managerial experience
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Analytical ability to create models and generate spreadsheets to provide support for forecast & recommendations
  • Knowledge of database products which allow for analysis
  • Ability to create PowerPoint presentations and present to various audiences
