- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Aviation Maintenance, or related field required.
- Graduate of one of the following US Army courses: Aviation Maintenance Technician (151A), Senior Leader Course (CMF15 series), Advanced Leader Course (CMF15 series) is preferred and given special consideration.
- 10 years of Quality management experience in a related field, 15 years of experience in a military aviation environment.
- 5 years of Safety program management/administration experience preferred.
- Current ISO or AS 9110 Lead Auditor certification preferred; knowledge of quality management system requirements, safety standards and general experience in dealing with environmental issues.
- Comprehensive understanding of aircraft maintenance, safety and quality control procedures in an Army aviation environment.
- Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and non-confrontational attitude.
- Must be able to communicate and present briefings to company and customer leadership in small and large group settings.
- Must possess competent computer skills.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Able to obtain/maintain security clearance as required by PWS.
Physical demands and environmental conditions:
- The environment varies from office to hangar and flight line, necessitating extensive physical activity including climbing, standing stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking.
- Employee may be exposed to excessive noises due to close proximity to flightline and/or aircraft hangars (aircraft engines, ground support equipment, etc.) requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment.
