Responsibilities:

• Develop Inspection Programs: Create and maintain inspection programs for each aircraft type in the fleet.
• Coordinate with FAA: Work with the FAA Office to integrate and update inspection programs in the Maintenance Manual.
• Ensure Airworthiness: Regularly review aircraft maintenance standards to align with FAA regulations and General Maintenance Manual.
• Manage Compliance: Partner with Maintenance Planning to comply with Airworthiness Directives and inspections.
• Guide Inspection Staff: Oversee Quality Control Program goals and provide guidance to inspection staff.
• Set Training Standards: Establish benchspans and provide ongoing training/testing for inspectors.
• Report Issues: Notify the VP of Maintenance and Engineering of any airworthiness or maintenance issues.
• Maintain Record Compliance: Ensure maintenance records comply with manual and FAA regulations.
• Communicate with FAA: Engage with the FAA on inspections, maintenance, technical reports, and investigations.
• Align with PSA Standards: Act as a liaison with OEMs and external entities to maintain company standards.
• Oversee Cargo Maintenance: Manage maintenance processes in cargo compartments and Basic Operating Weight procedures.
• Lead Staff: Direct staff and promote continuous improvement in maintenance operations.
• Support Engineering Services: Manage Engineering and Technical Support Services.
• Enhance Reliability: Improve the reliability program and monitor performance.
• Drive Strategic Changes: Lead targeted action plans to improve maintenance and engineering reliability.
• Collaborate with MTX Planning: Integrate reliability findings into maintenance planning.
• Manage Safety and Security: Oversee the Security and Safety Management System and related risk management activities.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a Part 121 maintenance organization (within the last 8 years).
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations for Part 121 operations.
• Experience navigating organizational boundaries and labor environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent in English.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or related field.
• Experience with Bombardier CRJ aircraft or similar models.
• Expertise in commercial service contract negotiations and administration.
