Distribution Manager
The Job
In this newly created position as a Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the development, sales, and operational aspects of our specialist sales products, Whole Plane Charters and Series Seat Sales. This includes leading and overseeing stakeholder management across multiple functions, protecting and generating revenue, and ensuring operational efficiency.
The role will focus on the following key areas:
Revenue Performance:
Monitor product performance, Commercial and Operational, and make recommendations for improvements.
Assist in developing future growth strategies.
Track sales performance and generate reports for management.
Operations Coordination:
Ensure efficient and effective operations related to product performance and distribution.
Coordinate with Network, Flight Operations, Scheduling and TPIM teams to manage inventory and distribution for Series Seat Sales and Whole Plane Charters.
Implement and maintain operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across multiple functions, including Network, Trading Performance, Flight Operations, Scheduling, Ground Operations, Crew; Customer: Finance: IT and Revenue Management.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.
Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on Charter delivery and growth.
Revenue and Yield Optimisation:
Implement and monitor strategies to optimise revenue from new and existing Specialist Sales customers, including managing the end-to-end quote-to-confirmation activities
Collaborate with the Commercial Partnership Lead and Internal stakeholders to analyse Channel financial performance and identify any non-performing sales activity.
Analytical Reporting:
Conduct thorough analysis of revenue performance, operational, and financial data.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
Utilise data to make informed recommendations for business improvements.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against business goals.
