Job Description SummaryThe Evendale Engine Test Operations Maintenance Manager will manage the maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair of internal factory equipment. Also, collaborate with Test Facilities Engineering and Test Operations and Maintenance Teams to achieve service, quality, and timeliness of objectives. This includes creating and maintaining yearly budgets, KPI’s, maintenance metrics and helping to develop a long-term maintenance strategy for test facilities at the site. In this role, you will directly manage 5 supervisors and 2 Team Leaders, who collectively lead approximately 100 hourly unionized maintenance team members.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the maintenance team supporting test systems operations at the Evendale site.
  • Ensure that Air Turbo Operations and Altitude Test Facility (ATF) are fully operational and properly maintained.
  • Implement and oversee TPM Strategy within Engine & Component Test
  • Propose plans for preventive maintenance and corrective actions.
  • Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources, project management, and process improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and repair of manufacturing and utility equipment/systems such as pumps, motors, control valves, heaters, etc.
  • Supervise and coordinate with contractors and vendors on works according to schedule maintenance, repair, shut down and overhaul works.
  • Ensure maintenance work done comply to local regulatory, corporate safety and industrial standards.
  • Provide reports on downtime and ensure action follow up to prevent recurrence of breakdowns.
  • Keep track of spare part and inventory usage to maintain spare part/inventory control.
  • Provide feedback and give suggestions to improve equipment stability and performance.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices in the production and maintenance support areas.
  • Participation on a cross functional teams as part of Kaizen/Lean type events
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to direct reports.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university + Minimum of 5 years of Facility Maintenance, Engine Test, Engineering and/or Operations experience
  • OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience in Facility Maintenance, Engine Test, Engineering and/or Operations experience
