Job Description SummaryThe executive site leader will provide leadership for the McAllen - Tx site with over 400 employees. The site is an Aerospace repair center of excellence with a high technology and product mix including High Pressure Turbine Nozzles and HPT Hangers.
The site leader will provide oversight to the operations as well as to all enabling functions such as finance, HR and digital.

Job Description

       Provide leadership to all organizations and individuals in the plant to meet customer requirements for quality, cost, and delivery.

       Provide development of staff leaders to guide plant and support organizations

       Work with customers, functional leaders, and internal staff to meet organizational requirements

       Lead the establishment and attainment of plant goals in quality, cost, schedule, compliance and safety

       Establish and maintain the plant vision for success

       Facilitate the leadership team in strategic decision-making and problem-solving

       Provide leadership development and performance feedback to the plant staff

       Establish and maintain positive corporate citizenship through community organizations and the media

       Work with local legislative bodies to promote decisions with a positive impact on the business

       Develop and track expense and investment budgets with the input of each organization

       Establish and adjust an organizational structure that best supports the plant goals and measurements

Qualifications

       Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University & Minimum 10 years of manufacturing / services or repair activities experience

       Strong Lean expertise in driving transformation

Desired Characteristics

       Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college

       Familiarity with GE process, strong Matrix management, especially within Engineering and Supply Chain
Strong operational rhythm

       Demonstrated leadership skills
Organizational change management skills

       Strong oral and written communication skills

       Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Knowledge of products and processes for customer requirements, and budgeting
