Description:F-16 Flightline Supervisor - Second shift

This leadership position is responsible for oversight and management of Flight line Aircraft Repair and Modification team in Greenville, South Carolina.
Supervises the teardown, modification, and rebuild of F-16 Depot Aircraft. Ensures customer, engineering, and FAA specifications and regulations are met. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Advises on problems maintaining, servicing, and inspecting fighter aircraft. Uses technical data to diagnose and solve maintenance issues on aircraft systems. Interprets and advises on maintenance policies and procedures to repair aircraft. Troubleshoots and maintains aircraft structures, components, and systems. Adjust, aligns, rigs, and calibrates aircraft systems.

Supervises and performs aircraft and component inspection,. Inspects and checks components for clearances, tolerances, proper installation, and operation. Reviews maintenance forms, aircraft records, and reports to ensure completion documentation.
Responsibilities include:
• Labor recording, Tool/FOD control, 6S and internal/external audits. Develop and communicate crew plans to meet cost and schedule requirements. Suggest and support process improvement initiatives.
• Responsible for achieving target zero safety metrics.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal and external groups frequently. Energize team members, actively practice Culture of Accountability (COA) and hold each accountable for performance.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 years Aircraft Maintenance, Modification, and Repair experience with at least 2 years being leadership experience

- Experience interacting with internal/external customers.

- Experience creating or utilizing metrics related to aircraft performance

- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

-Aircraft Flight line Experience
Desired Skills:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college

Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments.

Ability to obtain secret security clearance

Previously awarded an Air Force, Marine, or Navy 7 level discipline skill level rating or possess equivalent civilian experience with associated credential such as an licensed FAA “Airframe and Power plant or Inspector Airframe license.

Recent fighter aircraft experience (F-16 preferred)

Ability to obtain a security clearance as required.

Ability to create and utilize metrics related to performance.

Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.

SAP experience is a plus.

Prior engine run experience

Willing to alter work schedule on short notice pending work schedule
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
