*This is a part time position and candidate will work less than 40 hours per week*

Primary responsibilities:
Operate the NTC-L F-16 networked flight simulators during aircrew training, research and development, test procedures, and certifications. Assist instructor pilots by configuring mission set-ups and operating the consoles (MCS & IOS) to support varied mission types, including the XCITE and man-in-loop threat stations, and provide accurate, up-to-date GCI communications to support 56 Fighter Wing F-16 training missions. Provide back-up support to the F-16 SMEs providing Red Air when needed. Assist simulator technicians in troubleshooting and repairing technical problems and issues during training and return the simulator to full operational status. Additional duty will include performing as an operator of the Live/Virtual/Constructive (LVC) Link-16 system in support of live F-35 and F-16 training missions. Flexible availability to shift schedule and support missions from 0730L to as late as 1930L.
US Citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
Graduate of a formal Weapons Director (WD) or Air Battle Manager (ABM) course.
- Minimum of 2 years operational experience providing Ground Controlled Intercept (GCI) control to military aircraft.
- Final DoD Secret Security Clearance with investigation or CV date within the past 5 years. This is required prior to starting this position.
- US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
- Five years experience providing GCI or AWACS control, either live or simulated, to military aircraft.
- Instructor qualified WD or ABM.
- Simulator console operations experience.
- Above average written and verbal communications skills.
- Customer oriented.
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment with diverse backgrounds and cultures
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
