The F119 Sustainment Organization has a new opportunity for an Affordability Manager reporting to the Maintenance Operations Manager responsible for leading program cost reduction efforts to meet program affordability goals. This position will drive accountability and actions through both internal and external reviews with the F119 USAF Program Office, organize cost reduction activities within the F119 program and generate the value proposition and advocacy necessary to secure funding.
What You Will Do
Track and manage affordability metrics such as EOC and CPEFH, overhaul costs, tracking of task cost benefits, and validating ROI’s.
Manage new part production cost reduction initiatives to drive part affordability, quality, and cost management.
Lead F119 program repair development prioritization from waterline planning through repair industrialization and execution to meet program needs.
Support readiness initiatives for future induction overhaul planning such as deep looks and Compass Vector planning committee.
Drive efficiencies to reduce costs through innovation and process improvements utilizing CORE principles and methodologies.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of cross functional teaming experience to include external support and problem solving skills or an Advanced degree and 7 years of cross functional teaming experience to include external support and problem solving skills
Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
Qualifications We Prefer
Knowledge of and prior experience with SAP
Prior customer-facing work experience in a technical or business role
Strong communication, influencing, presentation and data management/analysis skills
Proven leadership skills coupled with a history of attaining results through influence and collaboration

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
