Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Sr Technical Publication Coordinator to join our team based in Grand Prairie, TX.

This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and advising the completion of specific projects for AIRBUS Facilities while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope.  Works frequently with outside contractors to coordinate and interface their work with the operations of the facility.

Your challenges:

Facilities Project Manager:    80

  • Provide technical collaboration with outside service providers and contractors used in support of the AIRBUS facilities.

  • Develop project scope of work (SOW) and follow AIRBUS Procurement standards for Request for Information (RFI) and/or Call for Tender (CFT).

  • Crafting work plans and time schedules.

  • Lead all aspects of contractor installation and repairs.

  • Crafting communication plans for project notifications for internal AIRBUS as well external parties.

  • Provides quality control inspections of installations and repairs have been completed.

  • Works with outside contractors.

  • Defining the project concept.

  • Creating a process to bring the project to fruition.

  • Making work assignments to meet project objectives.

  • Handle risks.

  • Ensuring work is performed to AIRBUS and city code standards as well any other associated regulatory requirements.

  • Create and ensure compliance against Site Incident Prevention Plan (SIPP) requirements.

  • Handle any change orders which may be associated to the project.

  • Coordinate and maintain project documentations and drawings using Google Drive.

  • Ensuring the project delivers the expected outcomes and benefits.

  • Communicates with AIRBUS Facilities Management daily.

Facilities Maintenance Operations:  20

  • Supports day to day operations of AIRBUS Facilities maintenance overseeing the operation, conditions, and effectiveness of mechanical, electrical, fire, and other facility support systems.

  • Demonstrate the knowledge and rationale for safe use of equipment; reports equipment malfunctions, environmental concerns, safety concerns and takes appropriate actions, if necessary.

  • Develop preventative maintenance schedules, implement as the need arises, establish and maintenance records pertinent to the same.

  • Participate in the control and handling of hazardous materials and hazardous waste in support of plant operations and participates in training to comply with environmental regulations.

  • Participate in department Safety program.  Use and maintain safety devices and protective equipment.

  • Supports the Facilities Manager as needed to provide excellent customer service e to the AIRBUS sites.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Facility issues and notify appropriate personnel as directed by Facilities, Technical Operations Manager.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Your boarding pass:

Required

  • High school diplomas or equivalent.

  • Technical trade school (2 additional years of experience can be substituted for this requirement).

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Operations/Project Management or related field.

Experience:

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Facilities or Construction project management maintenance.     

Preferred

  • Minimum 5 years in a trade based on the job training electrical, plumbing, mechanical, construction.

  • 10 years’ experience in Facilities or Construction project management maintenance.

Licensure/Certifications:

Required

  • State issues driver’s license.

Preferred

  • State license in electrical, plumbing, mechanical or general contracting.

  • OSHA (40 hour training certificate).

Travel Required:

  • Up to 50 miles one way from the AIRBUS site.  

  • 0 Domestic and International.
