The Field Support Representative (FSR) is a highly motivated professional providing technical, operational, & commercial guidance and expertise to our Customers, Operators, and other organizations who provide services and support to Bombardier Business Aircraft. The FSR promotes safety of operation, best practices to maximize operational readiness and efficiency, and advice to minimize the direct cost of Bombardier Business Aircraft operation.

In your role, you will:

  • - Represent the voice of the Customer within Bombardier
    - Investigate issues thoroughly and maintain oversight and internal insights regarding the entire customer experience.
    - Monitor, and ensure accountability by responsible departments in support of all customer issues (Finance, Warranty, Parts Logistics, Bombardier Service Centers and Authorized Service Facilities, Publications, Technical Services and Training). FSR’s will use SalesForce.com case management, SAP and other Federation tools to ensure Customer issues are promptly actioned and resolved, ensuring “Customer Satisfaction and Engagement ” is maintained
    - Effectively interact with, and provide support to all levels of the Customer’s organization including but not limited to Owners, CEO/COO’s, VPs, Directors, Aviation advisors, Crew, PA’s, and related operational staff.
    - Provide factual, concise, and value added reports and briefing documents to both the Customer and Bombardier Leadership & internal focals on an as required basis. Also communicate effectively in providing recommendations and solutions in order to facilitate the timely resolution of any Customer issue.
    - Assist customers in preparation for the delivery of new aircraft including; surveying Customer’s / Operators facilities, recommend and promote the sale of parts and support equipment to meet their operational requirements, complete a Training Needs Analysis and provide recommendation on Bombardier OEM and Vendor training opportunities.
    - Promote the services of the Bombardier Mobile Response Team, Bombardier Service Centers, and Aftermarket Sales to Customers. Actively support the Sales Lead initiative as set by Customer Support management, with the KPI recorded in Salesforce.com.
    - Keep current on all technical aspects of aircraft supported, including available modifications, manual revisions, service bulletins, and best operational practices.
Job Requirements:

As our ideal candidate, 

  • - You have a college diploma in Aviation Management or equivalent, and a suitably endorsed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License or equivalent or Business Aircraft operational experience & proficiency. Technical and/or Operational experience of Bombardier Challenger and Global aircraft is preferred.
    - You have a minimum of ten (10) years of aviation experience, and more than five (5) years in a customer support environment.
    - You are a strong individual contributor, working well in a team-based dynamic and global environment, and proficient in working in a fast-paced 24 hour, 7 days a week environment. You must possess general management skills such as budgeting, time management, goal setting, and organization and performance management.
    - You are computer literate and experienced with all MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc., and mobile device applications. Experience with Salesforce.com and SAP is an asset.
    - You can demonstrate a high degree of financial acumen and strong analytical skills to investigate, comprehend and drive resolution of all aspects of customer issues.
    - You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written) in English and Aerospace terminology. Other languages are considered an asset.
    - You are able to bring together and influence internal Bombardier functional teams, ensuring proper accountability, and encouraging them to demonstrate negotiation and conflict/issue resolution skills.
    - You need to be available to travel frequently, for extended periods, and at short notice.
