As a Finance Manager here at Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) in Shreveport, you will play a crucial role in budgeting, reporting, cost control, and financial modeling, while also providing valuable insights and ensuring financial compliance. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial success of the organization and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

 In this role, you will impact the financial health and strategic direction of our company, contributing to sustainable growth and ensuring that our financial operations align with our corporate goals. Your commitment to financial excellence will help us navigate challenges, identify opportunities, and maintain a strong and stable financial position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•         Lead all financial activities on our Shreveport Manufacturing site

•         Collaborate with department heads to ensure budgets align with corporate goals and monitor financial performance against budget targets by developing and executing the annual budgets and financial forecasts.

•         Prepare and managing the plants annual budget, forecasting financial performance, and tracking actual performance against budget.

•         Analyze plant costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and recommending cost-reduction measures

•         Monitor inventory levels, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions, and investigating variances

•         Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data and compliance with company policies and regulations.

•         Coordinating and reviewing external and internal audit activities onsite.

•         Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial performance and efficiency at the site.

•         Act as a financial advisor to department heads and senior management, providing insights and recommendations on financial strategies, investments, and resource allocation.

•         Lead, mentor, develop, and grow a dynamic team of finance professionals onsite.

YOU MUST HAVE

•         A minimum of 6 years of experience in progressive finance roles.

•         Strong financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting skills.

•         Excellent understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance.

•         Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

•         Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

•         Relevant certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are highly valued.
