Job Summary:
We are seeking a Finance Supervisor – To oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, compliance with tax regulations, and proper accounting and banking practices. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, banking operations, foreign remittances, GST, TDS, and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including vendor invoice processing, payments, and vendor reconciliations.


• Supervise and ensure timely bank reconciliations and general ledger (GL) reconciliations.


• Monitor and manage GST input tax credit, ensuring timely filing and compliance.


• Oversee withholding tax (TDS) calculations, deductions, and deposit, including monthly and quarterly returns.


• Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to resolve invoice/payment issues.


• Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax laws including documentation and audit requirements.


• Handle foreign remittances and related banking documentation.


• Support the monthly and year-end closing processes.


• Perform general ledger reconciliations, aging analysis, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.


• Maintain and update vendor master data with proper documentation and internal controls.


• Prepare reports for management related to payables, tax deductions, and reconciliations.


• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and banks as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Postgraduate in Commerce / Finance / Accounting (e.g., M.Com, MBA Finance, Inter preferred) or equivalent.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounts payable, accounting and taxation.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and input tax credit mechanisms.
Hands-on experience in banking operations and coordination.
Proficiency in bank and GL reconciliations.
Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle,) and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work with a strong team and fast-paced environment.
