Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Flight Hour Services - Inventory Modeler and Asset Manager (f/m)  to join Airbus  flight hours services, based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a Airbus FHS team, that delivers spares to its customers worldwide as well as Engineering and Maintenance services. As part of this team, you will be involved in different activities such as: The on time delivery to the customer is mostly delivered through availability of spares on the shelves. Consequently the FHS Inventory holds an essential role in the service level delivered and on the customer satisfaction. to aiming at In the meantime for the Capital Expenditure of the investment on spares and for the Operational Expenditure of the cost of backorder.

Your challenges:

This job is a great mix of daily operations (asset management) and activities linked to inventory optimization methodologies and associated tools administration (inventory modeler). It is a very rich position mixing supply chain, finance, stock management, optimization and data analytics.


Inventory Modeler
As Inventory Modeler, you will work on defining the best optimized inventory models developing expertise in the inventory optimization tool and inventory methodologies, by:

Continuously optimizing the stocking policy to be used by the asset managers
Securing the quality of the data inputs in the inventory optimization tool
Enhancing the forecasts computed by the inventory optimization tool
Securing the reliability of the recommendations delivered by the inventory optimization tool
Supporting investment scenarios for projects needs, business requests or sales campaigns


Asset Management
As Asset Manager, you will be responsible to optimize the FHS stock for the part numbers in your portfolio (the team is divided per supplier portfolio), maximizing the service level through spares availability while minimizing the total cost of inventory, by:

Deciding the appropriate stock level
Deciding to invest or not
Ensuring the right balancing of stock within the worldwide warehouses
Making the right configuration choices
Making the identified surplus available for sale

Your boarding pass:

• At least 3 years&39; experience in a similar position
• Strong statistical and mathematical skills
• Optimization skills
• Data analytics skills
• Be creative and take Initiatives
• Able to work with short deadlines
• Capability to understand complex topics
• Good learning capabilities
• experience in inventory management or supply chain management would be a plus.
