Accountabilities:

  • The job holder assures the leadership of the manufacturing activities on several production stations (2-3) and coordination of all support teams integrated in the work process of the assembly production as MFT (multiple function team) leader.

  • The job holder’s main objective is to achieve the production goal on safety, quality, delivery, efficiency and cost.

  • The job holder is accountable for the safety of people and products in the production process.

  • The jobholder leads and supports the Lean /AOS (Airbus Operation System) improvement projects within related areas/processes.

  • The jobholder is also in charge of the performance review and people assessment of the team, managing recruiting, training, qualification and development of production team members within Airbus employee qualification system.

  • The job holder gives his/her support and contribution as representative of production function on the medium and long term development of the area on process and technology improvement

Main activities:

A.  People management
  • Disciplinary leadership of the production team

  • All the tasks on the people management through close cooperation with HRBP including people selection/recruiting, organization design, succession plan and individual development.

  • People qualification and Poli-Poly roll out

  • Assure that Industrial Safety Regulations are strictly respected.

  • Ensure the fulfillment / following of company rules, policy and E&C compliance, promote the Speak-up culture

  • Breakdown of department objectives to teams and individual employees, managing and monitoring adherence, process the performance evaluation of employees with help of support functions.

B. Operational tasks
  • Lead the daily production activities to assure Station MFTs fulfill the target on safety, quality, delivery, efficiency and cost

  • Drive the daily SQCDP routine on unit level, keep the communication open and smooth, make escalation to all the related functions to address issues and align the priorities

  • Initiate and support continuous improvements and implementation of LEAN/AOS approach to improve and qualify the production, people safety, productivity and the process/procedure optimization.

  • Monitor and assure the permanent operability of the stations equipment and J&T, process capability and people qualification

  • Support in the corresponding area for all kinds of project introduction and execution

  • Responsible for correctness and integrity of aircraft documentation and data processing

  • Responsible for the function budget on investment/operation and drive the cost saving initiatives

Requirements:

  • At least 2-years’ experience of manufacture production shop floor management & BC management

  • Excellent communication, influencing and decision making skills

  • Experience in conflicts management

  • Assertiveness and result oriented with a “can do” attitude

  • Lean knowledge and practical skill

  • Good command of English in daily operation scope

  • College degree or above, aviation or mechanical related majors are preferred

  • Self organized and has the structured mindset that can lead stations to a higher level in terms of efficiency, AOS, 5S, safety etc

  • Strong communication skills
